Engineered to meet all criteria for transfer height, seat dimensions, and accessibility features, the S2617 delivers inclusive design without compromising Boyd’s signature ergonomics, durability, and reliability.

What makes the S2617 design unique?
• The design complies with USAB transfer surface requirements with seat height measured from the floor to the top of the uncompressed transfer surface.
• Low transfer position at 17 inches maximum
• High transfer position at 25 inches minimum
• 4 additional transfer heights as needed
• The seat dimensions comply with width and depth.
• 21 inches wide minimum
• 17 inches deep minimum
• Removable transfer support bar meeting all dimensional criteria for length, diameter and height.
• Capable of flat supine or Trendelenburg positioning.

STANDARD FEATURES

• Four independently operated, ultra-quiet DC motors that deliver smooth, precise adjustments to height, tilt, backrest, and toe sections. Capable of 500 lbs vertical lift.

• Two 3-way switches control the one touch operation of three programmed seating preferences, return to home position and chair lock out during surgery. Four manual override levers adjust all positions independently for optimal patient positioning.

• Thin, tapered back for ergonomic patient access.

• Boyd's propriety accessory rails add flexibility for arm board or accessory placement.

• Boltaflex Vinyl with PreFixx coating upholstery and standard foam cushion.

• Choice of single or double articulating headrest designs.

• Choice of frame color – Putty or Black.
